La carta, revela que fue enviada en agradecimiento a GameStop, era un "gran gracias" de Ubisoft por ayudar a lograr sus metas de pre-orden con Assassin 's Creed 3, pero también en la carta se indicaban los planes de DLC posterior a la liberación. "Actualmente estamos en el proceso de creación de un equipo de desarrollo complementario que comenzará a trabajar pos-lanzamiento de contenido episódico para continuar el juego y su experiencia durante el año de Assassins Creed 3, "la carta detalla." Que un equipo estará dedicado específicamente a este contenido que va a poner el listón de calidad al contenido descargable en nuestra industria." La carta no especificó si serán historias para el modo de un solo jugador o DLC para el multijugador, pero el hecho de que su contenido sea episódico nos hace creer que ampliará aún más la campaña para un jugador. Aunque estamos seguros de que también veremos los típicos pack de pieles y mapas para el multijugador. El documento menciona un "pase de temporada", concepto que la compañía comenzará a tomar en pre-pedidos. "Nos encantaría recibir su ayuda continua para informar a los clientes en pre-orden de que un mejor valor estará disponible para aquellos que pre-compren Assassins Creed 3 con el "pase de temporada". Como nota al margen, GameStop también recibió un collar exclusivo del equipo de Assassins Creed "en reconocimiento" por todo lo que hacen.
